Cheese weasels!
I haven't done anything on here since Halloween.
Let's get in our Wayback Machine and pay a visit to November, shall we?
Speaking of the Wayback Machine. I was at the movies the other day (more about that in a later post) and walked by a giant cardboard movie advertisement for Mr. Peabody. Is nothing sacred????
Moving on.
The beginning of November was a busy preschool time interspaced with some other fun distractions.
It started to get cold around here.
I believe we went below zero for the first time this fall.
Hats and gloves were required at preschool.
There were a couple of preschool field trips.
One to the fire station.......
.....and one that took the kids for a ride on a community transit bus.
Katie and Mikey decided they wanted to have a "sleep over".
Mikey was being stubborn and demanded that it be in his room. Katie countered with her fear of the dark and wanted it in her room so her light could be on.
It looked as if the event would not take place at all.
It was a grumpy kid stalemate.
Mikey decided that he could deal with the light and the sleep over was back on.
After a few hours of total, absolute silliness they eventually fell asleep.
At one point in the night, Katie woke up and told me, "Mikey must've missed his own room, 'cause he went to go sleep in his bed."
I told her, "Nope. He's here. He's just waaaaaayyyy down in the sleeping bag hiding from the light."
Next, we went to see a certain mouse and his pals ice skate.
The kids were mesmerized by the on-ice antics.
That is, until the twenty dollar ICEE was purchased.
The cast and characters agree, "Yay for souvenir cups!"
I can't for the life of me remember the name of this guy.
Lotta Head guy or something like that.
Mikey and Katie got on this "make your own lego building instructions" kick.
Here's Mikey following instructions he drew to build a ship.
Next up....the rest of November.
And boy was it busy!
